There was a Canon day at uni yesterday, with talks from various speakers and gear to play with. The only gear that they had that really interested me was the 85/1.2L and, to a lesser extent, the 1DsMkIII, which I didn't get a chance to play with. This was taken on the 85/1.2L's smaller, 1/6th-of-the-price 85/1.8. For saying I've wanted an 85mm lens for a while now, it turns out that I don't really know if I can justify it considering its output compared to my 50/1.4. Maybe lust after a 135/2L instead?
I also got a chance to play around with a 24/1.4 which I was very pleasantly surprised with.
